Researchers from the University of Cambridge studying the development of expertise are asking for your help
Background
Expertise is an important research area, as it is a clear indicator of occupational success. We are studying the development of expertise in a range of occupations including academic Psychology. Our current study, supported by the Medical Research Council, requires us to test a number of individuals from the world of academic Psychology.
Participant eligibility and contact instructions:
We wish to work with native English-speaking individuals working within academic Psychology, from the most junior (including undergraduates) to the most senior positions. After the initial recruitment, we are particularly interested in post-graduates, psychology staff and male undergraduates. If you meet that criterion and are interested in taking part then please email us expressing your interest on:

The study's practical details
Subsequent to your completion of a general questionnaire, you will be asked to undertake 3 simple, computerised tasks that provide insight into how you learn, together with 6 interactive questionnaires. In total, these tasks and questionnaires usually take approximately two hours to complete, with each taking between five and twenty-five minutes to finish. All testing can be conducted at your convenience on any computer with Internet access, without the need to ever meet with an experimenter. You can complete all the necessary tasks in as many sittings as is suitable for you.
We very much hope that you will agree to participate in our study. In return for your help, we will donate money to charity on your behalf. The amount will depend on the total number of participants we recruit but we hope that as a result of this study we will be able to donate over £1000 to charity. Your participation would be greatly appreciated.
